ITW Food Equipment Group Announces Final Winner of Save Your Kitchen 2025

Ft. Worth, TX (December 9, 2025) – ITW Food Equipment Group, parent company of Hobart, Traulsen, and Vulcan, is pleased to announce that Greenville City Schools (GCS) of Greenville, Ohio, has been named the final winner of the 2025 Save Your Kitchen contest. This nationwide initiative provides K-12 schools with premium foodservice equipment to help modernize operations and enhance meal programs.

Serving approximately 2,195 students across two buildings, GCS stands out for its diverse population within a rural setting. A 2017 consolidation from five school buildings to two streamlined operations and created a more unified educational experience.

GCS has a long-standing relationship with ITW Food Equipment brands, having previously purchased heated cabinets, mixers, milk coolers, and ovens. “We are very pleased with their products and seek them out when in need of a replacement,” said Stephanie Adelsperger, Food Service Manager for GCS.

The district’s foodservice program is guided by a mission to make students feel excited about eating nutritious meals. “We are absolutely thrilled to have won the Save Your Kitchen contest! The equipment will be very beneficial and has saved us a tremendous expense,” Stephanie continued.

Like many districts, GCS faces challenges such as staffing shortages and financial limitations. The new equipment will help alleviate these pressures by simplifying meal service and improving efficiency. Plans are already in place to install the new equipment in both district kitchens, with Centerline™ by Hobart’s new CCH34-1A food processor with accessories and Vulcan’s VBP15 insulated heated holding cabinet being added to the K-8 kitchen, and Traulsen’s RHF132WP pass-thru hot food holding cabinet for the high school kitchen. “We are glad to include the Vulcan holding cabinet in our K-8 kitchen, as we originally did not want to incur the expense when we could ‘make due’ with what we had,” Stephanie added.

The GCS foodservice team prioritizes cleanliness, proficiency, and offering a variety of tasty meal options that meet compliance guidelines. With the addition of new equipment, GCS expects to further improve operations, relieve pressure on staff, and reduce budgetary strain.

The Save Your Kitchen contest continues to empower K-12 school food service programs nationwide. Stephanie encourages other districts to enter future sweepstakes: “This equipment will help increase production, streamline meal service, and offer tremendous financial relief. Thank you!”

The sweepstakes are open to K-12 nutrition professionals in the 50 states and Washington, D.C.
